Payment Information

How much do the videos cost?

The prices are different for Standard and Premium videos, and they are also different for each trial level. The video prices reflect the different amounts of labor required to film, edit, and deliver the video(s) for each search.

For example, the price for Premium videos of Elite searches are different from the price for Standard videos of Level 1 Element Specialty searches. This is due to the following rationale:

Premium Video

It's very time consuming to merge multiple camera angles into one seamless video as well as add arrows and distractor labels to each video (especially for dynamic video since both need to be removed and drawn again each time the camera pans or zooms).

Trial Level

As the trial level increases, more camera angles are needed to cover the entire search area. Elite searches often have 3 camera angles that must be processed per search (3 videos per search) while L1 EST trials often have 1 camera angle (1 video per search).

Premium vs Standard

Do you give discounts?

Videos have recently been permanently discounted between 10% to 25% (depending on trial level), for video of each search and regardless of the number of searches bought. So, the maximum discounts possible are already built into the prices you'll see on the SHOP NOW page.  And you no longer need to wait to combine videos from multiple trials to get the maximum discount - you can get your videos now and still get a discount. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via cash, major credit card, PayPal, and checks. If you'd like to pay by check add on an additional 1.5 weeks to the standard turnaround time for receiving your video(s). 

Do I need a PayPal Account to pay by major credit card?

No. To pay using a major credit card, without needing to log in or sign up for a PayPal account, follow these instructions:

  1. When you're finished adding videos to your Shopping Cart, click on the green "Check-Out" button.
  2. Fill out the form on the next page and then click on the green "Submit Order" button.
  3. You'll then be directed to a PayPal page - click on the inconspicuous gray button "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" near the bottom of that page.
  4. Enter your credit card and billing information on the next page and click the "Pay Now" button.
  5. Once the transaction is complete, you'll be asked to create a PayPal account on the next page - just click on the very tiny, very obscure text "Not Now" at the bottom of that page and you'll then be redirected back to this website where you can print a copy of your invoice for your order. You'll also be emailed 2 receipts: one from this website with the details of your order, and one from PayPal showing your credit card charge. Be certain to review the details of your order on the emailed receipt from this site (read the instructions near the bottom) to ensure you've ordered the correct videos, since once the videos are sent, there are no refunds per the below refund policy. Refund Policy

Digital Download Delivery

If you chose the standard delivery method of digital download, refunds or substitutions would be granted at any time and for any reason, so long as the refund or substitution request is received BEFORE we send the email containing the link to download the videos. 

No refunds, discounts, or substitutions will be granted once the email containing the link to download your videos is sent, unless there is (1) a technical glitch or software malfunction with our cameras, or (2) an editing error that caused a significant quality issue with the videos that we missed before emailing the download link, per our Commitment To Quality Policy, or (3) we made a mistake and sent a video you didn't order. Be certain to review the Sample Videos so that you know what you are buying prior to making a purchase. And be certain to read the details in the Commitment To Quality PDF document for the specifics of what does and does not qualify for discounts and/or refunds before making a purchase. And finally, carefully review the details of your receipt immediately after you place an order to ensure you didn't make a mistake and order the wrong video; you will automatically receive a receipt listing all the videos you ordered immediately after payment is received. Email us immediately if you did make a mistake and we can correct your order accordingly so long as we receive notification prior to emailing the link for downloading the video(s). We are a small boutique operation and we are charging the absolute minimum amount for these custom videos in order to pay our expenses, buy and maintain our equipment, and stay in business. Every single video (including Standard edited videos) requires a good bit of labor to edit before they are delivered. So, once we have invested the labor necessary to produce each high-quality custom video, we are unable to "take back" that labor output once whe have sent the email containing the link to download the videos. 

US Post Office Delivery

If you paid to have your videos mailed on a USB Flash Drive via the US Post Office, refunds or substitutions would be granted at any time and for any reason, so long as the refund or substitution request is received BEFORE the Flash Drive is placed in the mail at the US Post Office. 

No refunds, discounts, or substitutions would be granted once postage has been paid for (thereby mailing the USB Flash Drive), unless there is (1) a technical glitch or software malfunction with our cameras, or (2) an editing error that caused a significant quality issue with the videos that we missed before mailing them to you, per our Commitment to Quality Policy, or (3) we made a mistake and sent a video you didn't order. Be certain to review the Sample Videos so that you know what you are buying prior to making a purchase. And be certain to read the details in the Commitment To Quality PDF document for the specifics of what does and does not qualify for discounts and/or refunds before making a purchase. Sample Videos

If we post video(s) of your search(es) on our website or social media as a sample for the trial after you have already paid for it/them, no refunds will be granted for the posted video(s), unless there is a significant quality issue that was missed before posting the video(s), per our Commitment to Quality Policy and PDF.  This is because the act of publically posting the video (either to a public website or social media) is tantamount to delivering it, so the same policy applies to published Sample Videos as for digital downloads and flash drive delivery.
